　　Royal is a 15.2 hand, 4 year old, chestnut with a long white blaze/stripe, registered thoroughbred gelding. He is a beautiful young gelding whose registered name is Counting Missiles. His bloodlines include some ?royal? horses so we decided to give him his new name. He is the grandson of Spectacular Bid on his dam?s side and the grandson of of A.P. Indy on his sire?s side. Additionally, Royal is a great-great-great grandson of Secretariat! Marilyn hinted she might nickname him BJ because his name makes her think of Billy Joe Royal He has spent his life to date in an all thoroughbred pasture, arriving at Doxy?s on December 2, 2012 as a flighty, nervous horse. By December 31, 2012 Royal has settled right in and has become ?one of the crowd?. He leads well with a halter and is very people friendly.

　　Royal is the perfect horse for someone who?s looking for a project. We will be working with him on a regular basis to instill ground manners and Royal will be trained to ride western using natural horsemanship techniques. The adoption fee for this horse is $900.
