Phone: 68 Roundy, now known as Ma Jolie, is a beautiful, correct, well conformed, mare with a great shoulder, solid bone, and lovely movement with excellent suspension and cadence. She never raced, and had training in jumping and dressage. She loved to jump, and competed in local shows. She has developed hock problems which have put an end to her jumping and dressage career. I am looking for a good home for my mare I rescued from an abusive situation several months ago and who was supposed to have only emotional issues (I dealt with.. she is sweet as pie now) and who has turned out to have irresolvable physical ones as well (which had of course been deliberately concealed, wish people were not dishonest when they are looking to get rid of the animals they ride into the ground). She is a 16.2h sweet Bay TB who has a chip in her hind right leg and can only be lightly ridden or trail ridden as a result. A companion horse situation would be ideal as she needs an intermediate rider (very sweet but sensitive to the aids). She has a good pedigree Grandsire With Approval, sire King Cugat, and is registered. She has an outstanding pedigree for sport and jumping. She is sired by King Cugat, who is a son of Kingmambo -- stout. long distance lines with jumping performance. Her dam is by With Approval, another excellent sport line. Her third dam, a Canadian broodmare of the year, produced Grade 1 winner Northern Baby, who became a leading sire of great jumping steeplechase horses and event horses. Her pedigree is full of outstanding sport/jumping sire lines such as double crosses of Buckpasser; Majestic Light; Caro; Bold Ruler; Round Table; Princequillo.
