These dogs are available for adoption. There is a basic fee for every dog - $110 - which covers the dog's spay/neuter surgery & rabies vaccination, heartworm testing and further vaccines. This facility will not release a dog without being spayed/neutered. Anyone interested in adopting should phone the Athens Dog Pound at .

　　1) PENNY. OWNER TURN IN...NO STRAY HOLD. She is already spayed, and micro-chipped. She is 4 years of age, and good with other dogs and children. She is listed as a bulldog mix. She is very loving in the yard. Had been very well taken care of from previous owners.

　　2) FAWN. OWNER TURN IN...NO STRAY HOLD. Fawn is a female Lab. She was turned in by her owners. She appears to still be very young in age and in very good health. She still has lots of energy, and needs a home that has time for her needs.

　　3) LINA. OWNER TURN IN...NO STRAY HOLD. Lina is a very young, SOLID black Lab. She is a sweet little girl that deserves a wonderful home to love her. Appears to be Full-Blooded.

　　4) FRECKLES. Freckles' breed has not been determined. She almost looks like an Eskimo Spitz mix when you see her, But then there are the freckles. She came in as a stray. Either way, with her breed, she will not get any larger. She is around 45 lbs. in weight. Please call into the shelter to confirm.

　　5) MISS B. OWNER TURN IN... NO STRAY HOLD. Miss B is a female German Shepard/Husky mix. She was turned in by her owners. She was terrified in her kennel, until a volunteer got her out. She is already spayed, and good with children. Appears to be good with other dogs, but has not been tested.

　　6) MALE HEELER. NOT YET NAMED. Came in as a stray.

　　7) SUGAR. Sugar is a brindle female Lab mix. She appears to be very young. She is very sweet in the yard and settled. She would make a wonderful addition to someone's family.

　　8) CHOCOLATE. OWNER TURN IN. ..NO STRAY HOLD. Chocolate is a female Pitbull. She is 2 years old She is already spayed. She loves squeaky toys.
