My story

　　High-energy and full of love!

　　Hi, pals!聽 My name is Theodora, and I鈥檓 a 1.5 years old Terrier mix female, weighing in at 35 pounds.聽 I was found on the streets of Ensenada and was rescued by TAP after spending some time at another animal rescue.聽 Life has been two paws up since then, and I鈥檝e been enjoying every minute with my foster mama.聽

　　I have already been spayed, and my health is in tip-top shape! I鈥檓 crate-trained and sleep in my crate every night without an issue; though, I鈥檇 much rather snuggle up in bed with you if you鈥檇 let me!聽 Currently, I鈥檓 working on my potty-training and leash-training.聽 As of right now, I鈥檓 going out every 1.5-2 hours, but I鈥檓 still having some accidents around the house.聽 I鈥檓 told I do great on a leash, but I do pull when I get excited.聽 I will need more work in these areas, so someone who is patient and willing to put in the work would be ideal for me!聽

　　I鈥檓 a high-energy gal, who is hyper, cuddly, and sweet.聽 I am a chewer and love destroying all my toys.聽 Unfortunately, I have chewed up two pairs of shoes, but I鈥檝e been making a lot of progress in that department lately.聽 I also enjoy cuddling and love my humans more than anything.聽 In fact, I will follow you around the house and will even scratch the bathroom door if I can鈥檛 see you!

　　I鈥檝e never been around kitties or kids before, so I鈥檓 unsure how we鈥檇 get along.聽 Dogs, though, are A-OK for the most part 鈥 as long as they are not the jealous or territorial type.聽 After all, I love to steal toys, food, and especially my human鈥檚 love and attention. 聽 For this reason, I鈥檇 probably do just fine as the only doggie in the home.聽

　　Because I鈥檓 so active, I think I would do best with someone who has a yard or lives near an area where I can run freely to get my energy out.聽 I鈥檇 also prefer to be around my humans as much as possible during the day.聽 But, I do tend to be just fine when left home alone and only have mild separation anxiety when you leave.聽 Do we sound like a perfect match?
