This beautiful hardbound book is in very great shape, except for a little bit of damage to the top of the binding on the spinal column and edges. It's from 1955, so it's in wonderful shape for being over 60 years old. It is a very first edition, composed by Anne Barrett and published in 1954 by Collins, St. James Place, London England. There is a little staining and handwriting on the within page, but very little.
This story is about a 13 year old boy who is raised in a foster house and yearns to understand who his real family is. He takes off on foot for an extremely entertaining adventure.
