Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Puppies have been in a loving foster and exposed to chickens, ducks and cats! Right now, she is with 2 dogs, a cat and two kids. She's amazingly sweet and well behaved. She's about 75% on potty training with going outside every hour or two. She likes to cuddle and observe. She likes her crate and will go in when she's got a toy. She sleeps from about 10 pm to 6 or 7 am. She's all black with a titch of white on her back toes and chest. Her belly has the most adorable splotches. She loves belly rubs, food and big, fluffy dog beds. This go with the flow gal will make a great addition to a family!Health Notes | Other Dogs | Pepper is submissive. She tries to play with our 70 and 50 lb pups, but usually ends up showing her belly any time they start to wrestle. She will engage in tug-of-war / hold on to a toy as she slides across the hardwoods. She'll play chase around a sofa that the larger dogs can't fit behind. She'll tease them from the safety of the sofa. Watch out for your socks, she loves to nibble them and carry them around.Cats | Hisses scare her. She's interested in the kitty, but tucks and runs when she hears a hiss. The cat hasn't even had the chance to bop her yet.Children | Great with kids! Ours are 7 and 5 and are very handsy. Pepper is very patient.Training | She's doing pretty good with sit and exceptionally well with potty training. She's extremely food-motivated.Leash | She's not too sure about the leash yet. She goes in fits and starts and isn't ready for long leashed walks. Activity Level | She's an extremely calm puppy.Personality | Sweet cuddle bug, with a bit of sass that comes out every once in a while.Story | Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.
