My story
Texas Tom is an adorably tiny solid black Munchkin mix senior boy who weighs just 6 lbs. He is 10+ years old. He spent most of his life living outside in Texas with a colony of other cats. A rescue transport was taking a group of dogs north to Tennessee and they offered to take one cat too. Texas Tom was the cat who was chosen for his freedom ride. Tom has been neutered, vaccinated, had a healthy exam and bloodwork and has already had a dental with extractions. He has about 3-4 teeth left. Tom is able to eat dry food with small pieces and loves canned food too. Texas Tom is a typical lazy senior who loves to nap on a soft bed and always enjoys some cuddles.
Texas Tom is FIV positive but that is not a big deal. It is not contagious to other cats. The main health complication with FIV is dental disease and with most of his teeth already gone, that should not be an issue for Tom in the future. He has a slightly runny eye, but is otherwise very healthy. He is good with calm dogs and female cats but tends to pick fights with other males. He would love a quiet home where he can nap and cuddle away his golden years. His adoption fee is just $50 due to his age. If you are interested in adopting Texas Tom, please complete the online adoption application. You can also email [email protected] or text (615) . No phone calls please!! Tom is not currently on any medications or being treated for any medical problems.
