- This bike was built using a 1979 XS650 Special as a beginning point -.

　　The bike was initially selected up from Bent Bike in Lynnwood and lemme inform ya-- it was it in sorry shape.

　　The engine was taken apart and rebuilt from the ground up with new pistons, rings, valves, pins and guides and all linked gaskets and seals related to that process.

　　The motor just has test miles on it at this time so it is essentially a brand new motor.

　　The frame got a complete make over too and after a couple of subtle modifications it was media blasted and powder coated metallic weapon metal gray.

　　The tank, seat and forks are done in a personalized mixed MATRIX systems metsallic black-- everything else is powder covered.

　　The images do not do justice to the paint job in my opinion. It actually should be seen in the flesh to really value it.
