Tex's story

　　Tex is a 4-year-old mixed breed. He is sweet dog who loves to lay in the sun. If you are looking for a dog who is calm and loves his down-time Tex is perfect for you. Unfortunately, he was kept outside in his previous life, which led to heartworm disease. He has since been treated but must be on a strict heartworm preventative schedule every month (as every dog should be). Tex is not a huge fan of other animals which is no fault of his own, in his past life he was never socialized with other animals. If you are looking for a big, lazy dog, to be your only pet add Tex to your must-see list.
