My story

　　Tex is an 11 month old, male coonhound with a black and brown coat and expressive eyebrows. Tex was found near Old Walnut Canyon Rd, roaming around the area for most of the day. Believed to be abandoned in this area, he was brought into our shelter for a better opportunity at finding a good home.

　　Tex has high energy and loves to play with his favorite squeaky toy and ball. Tex gets along with people very well but will need time to get along with other dogs. Tex is also prey driven so he may not get along with cats very well. We believe that Tex would thrive best in a home where he is the only dog or is able to slowly be introduced to the other dog in the home.
