My story

　　Oh....hi. My name is Terry and I am in a much better place than I was just a few days ago! I was running around a busy road dodging cars and avoiding angry drivers! Fortunately someone called Animal Control about me in the road. I can't tell you how relieved I was when the Animal Control van pulled up beside me! Finally help had arrived! The deputy put me in the van and we rode to the shelter. I was given a big clean dog run and a bowl of food. Thank goodness I could rest my head on my comfy bed and safely sleep! I was never claimed by my family and now I am up for adoption. I am a three-year-old beagle mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive, but I'm not worried. I know the shelter will help me through the process! The employees say I have come such a long way in a short time. I was super scared when I first arrived and all of the noise in puppy room terrified me. So my friends made me a quiet place in one of the adoption rooms. That really helped me settle down and show everyone what a nice boy I was! They have discovered that I love to eat chicken and I love to play with dog toys....especially stuffed animals! Do you think you might like to give me a chance to be a part of your family?
