　　Sugar will sweeten up your life! This fun fellow is Sugar, a two year old male terrier mix. Sugar has a brown and black coarse coat, short legs and a cute tail that curls over his back. He is a medium/small dog that is a bit overweight at around 20 pounds. Sugar and his sister, Blackie , were both temporary fosters with the Humane Society after the tornado in 2011. After several months, they went back to live with their owners. But they were both recently surrendered to our local shelter due to the health of one of their owners. Since we knew them so well and knew what great dogs they are, we had to go pull them out and bring them back to "the Doghouse." Sugar is a very sweet dog that loves attention. He is very social and loves to run and play. Sugar is good with other dogs and children. He would be fine in an apartment as long as he gets nice daily walks. Sugar is used to living outside but would prefer to be inside with you. He will require a fenced-in yard if left outside any. Sugar is crate trained. Sugar is up to date on his vet care, neutered and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. We would love for him and Blackie go to a home together but that is not required. They would be just fine separated as long as each get lots of attention in their new home.
