Meet Miss Roxy, a 5 year old female Terrier mix. She has a medium long brindle coat scruffy with a brown and black mixture of color. Roxy is small weighing only 16 pounds and this is full grown. Roxy was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been part of a group of 14 dogs that were surrendered by their owner to the shelter due to neglect/cruelty charges. Little Roxy had been down there almost two months and we dont get why! She is so sweet and loving. Roxy is pretty shy at first and is pretty calm and easy going. She is a submissive dog and may do better as an only dog unless the other dog is small and rather tame. She is not comfortable with larger, active dogs. Roxy would do better in a rather calm household so if there are children, better if over 12. She would do fine in an apartment with daily walks. Roxy will make a wonderful companion pet. She must be an inside dog and kept on a leash if she goes outside and is not in a fenced in yard. Roxy has started on her crate training. She is up to date on her vet care, spayed, heartworm negative and is micro chipped. Roxy is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Just a darling dog longing for a nice lap to settle into how can you resist?! Our adoption fee is $75.
