　　Prissy is ready for a fresh start in a forever home.

　　This is Prissy, a one and a half year old female Terrier/pug mix. Prissy has a brown smooth coat with a cute stubby tail. She is small, weighing only 15 pounds. But this little girl is a dynamo!! She is very friendly, loving and playful. Prissy loves attention and wants it all the time!

　　Prissy was pulled from our local animal shelter where she had been picked up by Animal Control. When we got her, we discovered she was pregnant and very sick with kennel cough. Her one little puppy didn't make it. But the good news is that Prissy became like another dog with lots of nice energy once she was feeling better.

　　Prissy seems to be ok around other dogs, we don't know about cats. She should be fine with older children, 10 and up. We are working on her crate and house training. Prissy would be fine in an apartment as long as she got daily exercise. She needs to be an inside dog. Prissy is up to date on her vet care, heartworm negative, microchipped and will be spayed before she gets adopted. She is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Poor Prissy had a rough start with us but she is now showing her true fun personality and enjoying life again! Update from Foster Home: When I first picked up Prissy she had just given birth to a still born puppy. Fortunately she bounced back from that and day after day I was able to see the difference in her recovery. She has put on the necessary weight and Is back to being a healthy and active dog. She is very playful and loves going for walks and meeting other dogs. She is extremely well behaved and would love to have another dog as a playmate. No cats. She is also in a home with children and does very well with them. She is almost potty trained and only has a few mistakes. She sleeps in her crate every night and with no accidents. Playing fetch with her tennis ball and tug of war with her ropes are her two favorite games a well as any game where she can run after something. She is currently in an apartment and is going for 4 to 5 walks a days which is enough for her. She loves being around people and loves to play. She has lots of love and affection and would make great addition to her "fur ever" home.
