Terrier - Phoebe - Medium - Young - Female - Dog

　　Phoebe: Female brindle mix, 8 months old, 31 pounds, Submissive Meet Phoebe! Little Phoebe was only 8 weeks old when she was found bewildered in a parking lot. When the rescuer approached, Phoebe was so happy her tail wagged her whole body as if she was thanking the rescuer for coming to her rescue. But poor Phoebe was in bad shape; she sustained a broken back right leg and a dislocated left ankle. She was all skin and bones and her hair was falling out. It's hard to imagine the ordeal this little pup suffered before her rescue. Phoebe underwent surgery to connect her broken leg. She stayed at the clinic and was tended by the vet for post-surgery care and medical treatment for her skin problems. Phoebe is now an 8 month old beautiful brindle. Shes extremely sweet and sociable. We don't think her tail has ever stopped wagging since her rescue. Phoebe is such a happy girl who always brings smiles to people around her. She bonds right away with all people and dogs as if the world is her friend. Phoebe is very talentedshe has learned many tricks such as sit, give paw, the other paw and down. Its the cutest thing when she plays dead! She can't wait to learn more from the forever family she is still looking for. Like most young dogs, Phoebe is curious and playful. However, her rear right leg will shiver from overexertion. The vet indicates it could be nerve damage from her previous leg trauma which is beyond treatment although the leg surgery was a success. He says there's no problem for Phoebe to lead a healthy, normal life on moderate exercise. This sweet girl has so much love to give. She will make a wonderful companion for a not very active family. Phoebe is looking for someone who will see her spunkiness, which is the real beauty in her. She is truly a great dog who is patiently waiting in her foster home for her forever family to find her.
