Terrier - Merry - Small - Adult - Female - Dog
Our girl Merry was found in Coronado as a stray. Dirty and greasy, the Coronado Animal Care staff quickly turned her into a beautiful girl with a couple of baths which soon revealed her soft, curly but somewhat wiry white coat. Merry, a female, is approximately 2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. It appears that she is probably a terrier mix with a little Pomeranian and perhaps a touch of Papillon. She is fondly known as a Pompap Terrier! Merry is a dog who must first scope out her surroundings, coming back to her people after she has explored her space. With apricot tips to her ears, her "Merry" face is highlighted, hence her name. Merry is somewhat relaxed, calm and quiet but also has a playful side. She would be best suited in a home where her people are near. When left alone for long periods, she tends to bark some, but this may subside when this girl finds a secure and permanent home with no threat of being left again. She seems to get along with the other dogs at the Coronado Animal Care Facility but it is unknown how she reacts to felines. Let this girl into your heart, and she will become your permanent Valentine. Visit her soon and see for yourself.
