　　Meet Ivan the Irresistible!

　　How can you resist that face? This is Ivan, a one and a half to two year old (4/12) male terrier mix. He has a medium long scruffy yellow and cream coat and is medium size, weighing 32 pounds. Ivan was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been turned in as a stray over a month ago and no one came to claim this cute fellow. So Ivan was ready to get out of there. He has a sweet personality -- a little shy and skittish at first but once he gets to know you and is comfortable, his true colors show and he gets more excited and energetic. He gets a little nervous and submissive with new things but just needs a little coaxing.

　　Ivan is a terrier so he can be somewhat territorial with his stuff, especially treats like rawhides. Thus, we won't adopt out to families with children under 12. Ivan will require a fenced in yard and may not do well in an apartment setting, he really needs more room to run and play. He seems to get along well with other dogs, we don't know about cats. We have started his crate training. Ivan is up to date on his vet care, neutered and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. So think about bringing this Benji look alike home with you, you won't regret it!
