　　Isaac is making the most of his second chance!

　　This little 'wild man' is Isaac, a one year old male terrier mix. Isaac is very small, weighing only 11 pounds and he is full grown. He has a medium long, sort of scruffy light tan with some white and grey mixed in the hair, coat. Isaac was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been picked up by Animal Control. No one came to claim the little boy. Isaac had a severe eye problem, an ulcerated cornea that had erupted. But else wise he was in great shape so we didn't want him put down due to the eye issue. So we pulled him out, got the eye removed and he is doing great!

　　Dogs are truly amazing at adapting to the loss of a sense or body part. Isaac is running around with five other dogs like nothing has happened. He is full of life and has that great spunky terrier attitude! Isaac loves attention and to be in your lap once he settles down. He loves to run and play. Isaac would do fine in an apartment but will need daily exercise, he does have some energy. He MUST be an inside dog and must be on a leash if not in a fenced yard when outside. Isaac would be ok with children but they must be older, 12 and up, due to his small size. He seems to be housetrained. Isaac is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative and is microchipped. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Isaac is an adorable dog just loaded with personality. We are so glad we could save him to let him live a full life.
