This sweet little boy is Gordie, a five year old male Terrier/Chihuahua mix. Gordie has a very unique brindle coat: a brown and black mixing of colors, which you dont see much on small dogs like him. His coat is short so it will be easy to take care of. Gordie is all legs and weighs only 10 pounds and this is full grown. Gordie was pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been part of a group of 14 dogs that were surrendered to the shelter by the owner due to a neglect/cruelty case. He had been at the shelter almost two months so it was time to get out of there. We dont know why he was still there because Gordie is so sweet and loving. He is a great little dog and will make a wonderful companion dog. He loves to be with you and craves your attention. Gordie is a little shy at first and is a rather calm dog. He would be fine in an apartment but will need daily walks. He must be an inside dog and must be on a leash if left outside any unattended or if not in a fenced in yard. Gordie seems to be fine with other dogs and would be ok with children but due to his small size, the children must be 12 and older. We have started on his crate training. Gordie is up to date on his vet care, neutered, heartworm negative and is micro chipped. Gordie is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Gordie is very ready to be back in a home environment where he will be well loved and cared for we hope it will be your home! Our adoption fee is $75.
