　　Checkers... he's about 15 pounds of snuggly, buggly love. Scoots around the place like he owns it. Rescued from high kill shelter, has made a beautiful transition to the real world. He loves to walk on a leash, great with other dogs, likes the cats around here. A little timid with guys.

　　He would do best with someone who is around a lot, he has a tiny bit of separation sadness when we leave. Loves to ride in the car.

　　We are Lucky Pup Dog Rescue of San Diego, an all volunteer 501c3 dog rescue.

　　Our adoptions include an application ( that can be either filled out or downloaded from our website at , a home visit and a donation to our rescue of $200.

　　Your donation helps to cover Checkers expenses, surgery and care and allows us to continue to rescue dogs from death row from Southern California shelters.
