Meet Brett, a two year old male Terrier/Retriever mix. He has a tan and white smooth coat and is a tad too skinny, weighing only 33 pounds. He could stand to get closer to 40 pounds. Brett was pulled from our local Animal Shelter where he had been picked up by Animal Control as a stray and no one came to claim the fellow. Brett is so loving and just craves any attention. He is rather laid back and not high energy. Brett can be a little shy on first meeting but warms up quickly to you. He will require a fenced in yard. He should be good with children, 10 and up and he does well with some dogs but we would want to do a trial, sometimes he is not happy with other male dogs. Brett is working on his crate training. He is up to date on his vet care, neutered, microchipped and is heartworm negative. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Just a lover boy, Brett will be a wonderful dog to snuggle up with on a stormy night! Our adoption fee is $75. Read more information on our adoption process.
