Terra's story
If I had to describe Terra in one word, it would be FUN!
Terra was so excited to meet a new friend and come out of her kennel; she definitely wasn't playing it cool lol. You know that awkward kid on the playground that suddenly gets even MORE awkward once they're shown a little attention? Yeah- that's Terra. She was flipping around, and jumping up with her mouth open like a crazy kid. Once we got to the yard, I let Terra know that wasn't okay with the shaker can and by gently pushing her off and saying no. Well, Terra is a smart lady and eager to please, and she realized quickly that this wasn't the way to get attention. She settled and showed me what a cool dog she is! I'm mentioning all this, because if you see Terra at first, you'll probably say never mind lol. But wait it out, because a GREAT dog is waiting for YOU! :-D
Terra loves to play fetch and can run super fast! Zooming around the play yard is fun, but sidling up to the humans for pets and belly rubs is even better! Terra wants to be as close to you as possible, and isn't ashamed to do a hard flop over in a blatant request for a belly rub. ;-) She walks well on the leash when she settles, and already knows "sit" for a treat. She's so eager to please, she would love to learn more if you're willing to teach her!
Terra's eval indicated she was undersocialized with other dogs. She would benefit from a family willing to provide slow intros and supervision. Bring your dog in for a meet and greet!
