My story

　　Meet Tequila! Tequila came to us in a tough spot - she was having kittens, but the labor was taking a long time and her previous owners didn't know how to help. They couldn't afford the care she needed, so they brought her in to us. She had two healthy kittens, but unfortunately lost two that were stillborn overnight. However, she was such a great mama cat that we gave her several more orphan kittens to take care of. She did amazing with them, and lovingly raised everyone as her own. Her previous foster mom said she took being a mom very seriously, and was cautious around other animals in order to protect her kittens. Because of her serious streak, her foster mom never saw Tequila play! However, she does love head and chin scritches, and is never aggressive - just sometimes nervous. Her foster mom described her as gentle, tolerant, and easygoing, and mentioned how she drinks water using her paw. You can come meet Tequila at our shelter!
