Tennessee Walker - Herbert $200 - Large - Young - Male - Horse

　　Herbert is an approx 14-15 month old Tenn Walker X QH mix colt. He is very friendly and has good basic ground manners. He will pick up his feet, lead and back up. He seems to be quite smart and quickly learned his first lesson in Parelli natural horsemanship groundwork training. He is going to be a big horse. He is a cryptorchid, meaning that one testicle is retained. This means he will need a more extensive castration procedure. The castration expense is not covering in his adoption fee. Since he is not accumstomed to a divided horse trailer, we require that Herbert be hauled to his new home in a non-divided trailer. Our horses have received their basic vaccinations (Rabies vaccine, EWT combo vaccine) at the time of adoption. We do our best to determine what amount of training they have had and to represent them as accurately as possible. However, we usually do not know the history of our horses, so we determine training by how the horses act after we get them. Please call ahead to set up a time to meet our horses if you are interested in adopting. They are at foster homes so we may need up to a couple days notice in order to schedule a time for you to see them. We will adopt to either permanant homes or to a trainer who plans to school the horse and then find it a long term home.
