My story

　　Hi there! My name is Teddy and I'm breathing a big sigh of relief sitting here safe and sound at the shelter. You see my owners were moving from their apartment and after they moved all of their things out, they left me inside, locked the door, and drove away! I was in a bit of a panic because I had no food or water and I had no idea if they were coming back for me! After many days of no food and extreme loneliness, someone finally unlocked the door....it was not my owners, it was someone who had come to clean the place. Well I surprised her! She could see how thin I was! She loaded me up in her car and brought me to the shelter. She knew this was the place that could help me! I have spent several weeks gradually gaining some weight, but when you meet me you will see I still have a way to go. While I have been here they also gave me all of my vaccinations, they tested me for heartworms and I was negative, they gave me a microchip, and they made sure I was neutered. In my heart of hearts I know that most people are good and kind. I know my next family will be perfect and will love me and never desert me....paws crossed!
