My story
All of our dogs are housed in private homes, we do not have a store or a shelter. We do not show dogs to interested parties until they have an approved adoption application. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please fill out an adoption application on our website You may also find us on facebook: Helping Shepherds of Every Color Rescue.
2/9/2020 Taz (was Zing) is being returned to the rescue due to some personal issues with his family. He would do better in a home without kids.
Taz is very Energetic and loves to run. He loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs but for his home life it’s best if he’s an only dog. He’s a little food aggressive with other animals not with people at all. He’s not ok with little kids. He might be good with older kids, like around 8 and up though. He is also skittish when meeting new people but once he knows them he’s great. He loves sleeping on the sofa and getting belly rubs. He’s not big on toys but every once in awhile he’ll find one that he loves. He is also very nervous about getting his nails trimmed. Less is definitely more with him. I would not try to Restrain him, if you do then he’ll need a muzzle on. He does also have a little bit of anxiety and hates to be tied up. He does love his crate though, it’s like “his” place if that makes sense.
6/29/2020: Taz is NOT good with cats or other small animals.
