My story

　　Taylor Swift is a 5-year-old female Bluetick Coonhound who must be spayed before she is adopted.  She came to PAHS as a stray who was brought in by Animal Control.  Taylor Swift gets her 'blue' coloring from black ticking on her white coat, which gives the impression of a navy blue color. This ticking covers her body and is interspersed with variously-shaped black spots on her back, ears and sides.  She is a beautiful dog.  Taylor Swift has had puppies but no puppies were found with her.  She weighs 51 pounds and she is clearly underweight; we are working on putting some weight on her.  TS is a very sweet dog who walks well on a leash.  She likes the great outdoors and would enjoy having a fenced yard where she can safely play.  Taylor Swift is good with other dogs and would be just fine with children.  Since she is a hunting dog breed we would suggest she not be in a home with cats.  Please come see this beautiful girl--she may even serenade you with a mournful song--sort of like Taylor Swift!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $75 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $35 (as long as funds are available). Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
