My story
****PLEASE READ**** in order to be considered for adoption you must first fill put a application online at Tassie is a shy mama terrier mix who was rescued from a hoarding home with over 40 dogs. We believe she is roughly 2 1/2 years old. She spent her life in a backyard and was never socialized. She was abused by the husband and 2 sons in the home. After her puppies were placed in adoptive homes, Tassie has been learning how to be a house dog and learning about the perks of living in a human home full of affection.Tassie has been thriving in her foster home and is learning to love toys, bully sticks and running around. She's definitely come into her own and is a playful little diva. She's currently being fostered with other dogs, peacocks, pigs and chickens! Boy has her life turned around!!Tassie is fostered in Sonoma County, CA and will be available to adopt from Santa Rosa 95403 at a pre-approved, scheduled appoinment. Due to COVID-19 we are NOT doing any meet and greets at this time.If you are interseted in adopting Tassie, please email an application to start that process to [email protected]. You can find our application at /applytoadopt , please also attach pictures of the inside of your home (anyplace the dog would be) as well as your front and backyards.A note from Tassies foster mom: Tassie may take a little bit to warm up, but is super affectionate, cuddly and loyal once she’s comfortable. She is happy cuddling on the couch in bed for the majority of the day. As she’s come out of her shell, she’s become more playful and is still in the process of figuring out doggy toys. She is so sweet and would LOVE to sleep on the bed with her owners. She’s is 100% house trained, She’s had positive encounters with calm, friendly, dogs and is becoming confident around them. She loves her bully sticks and will collect them and corral them around the house. She is still unsure about young children and men. Overall she is an incredible dog that has made leaps and bounds of progress since being with her foster family. We’re confident that she will make a patient, loving family incredibly happy. ##874044##
