TAMMY is a shy but very sweet little female kitty about 2 years old with plush black fur. She was born in a feral colony (and spayed with an ear tip), and then was taken into a loving foster home where she slowly learned to trust people. She is active and playful, but may hide when someone walks into the room or moves too quickly towards her. Once you've earned her trust she will purr for hours and enjoys all the chin rubs you can give her. She was adopted into a household with one other young kitty (Tasha), but Tammy is a very dominant kitty with other cats, and Tasha was a bit afraid of her. Tammy and Tashas adoptive mom recently died, and they are now living in a foster home where they have been separated. Tammy is still adjusting to the sudden change and even though she really loves to be petted, she will sometimes suddenly growl or hiss. She will need a quiet home without young children. Tammy is a diamond in the rough and with a little TLC, she will be the perfect companion for the right somebody. TAMMY has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (she is negative), spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, plus you get a free vet visit. Tammy's adoption fee is just $75 which allows us to pay it forward to help other kitties. For more information or to meet Tammy, please call
