My story

　　Tala is the sweetest Dobie I've ever met! Very friendly and outgoing. She's a large, strong dog - needs someone who can handle her. She's okay with most other dogs - but we've been told, she does have some food aggression issues. No small children. Also, we've noticed her prey drive instinct seems to be strong, so no cats. She was rescued by a concerned neighbor who finally was able to get custody of her. They told us her life was very limited... she was either on a line in the yard or in a bedroom. Tala has been suffering for quite some time from some very distressing skin issues as well as infected ears. She's now on meds and finally on the mend! She needs to be spayed, which has yet to be scheduled. She is currently available for foster-to-adopt. The adopter will need to live within about 40 miles of Coos Bay.
