My story

　　Taiga is watching the window for her new person!Third time’s a charm for Miss Taiga! Her previous two owners have been unable to meet her needs so she has been returned to POP once again… This girly deserves the best, most loving home and hopefully we can find someone to finally give her just that!Taiga is a beautiful four year old, longhaired cat. She has the softest fur and the most beautiful blurred tabby pattern and bright yellow/green eyes. We originally rescued Taiga from the flooding in Mobile due to Hurricane Sally, all the way back in September of 2020. Since then she has battled some medical issues, has jumped from adopter to foster homes to adopter and then back into foster homes. She just recently finished treatment for a nasty UTI but this girl is such a fighter!Her foster raves about her! She said that she was shy at first, but has really started to come out of shell! Taiga apparently loves cat treats, especially the catnip ones, and really enjoys head scratches. She loves to watch downtown Auburn from her spot on the windowsill or lay in a spot of sunlight on her rug! She is also litter trained and isn’t destructive of any of her foster’s furniture. Overall, Taiga is a wonderful kitty and just really needs someone to love her and be patient with her. She has been through a lot, so it’s expected of her to make a few mistakes when she enters a new home. But she promises to be the best kitty you could ever imagine if you give her some time and show her lots of love! We’d prefer her to be the only pet in the household, but calmer cats and dogs could potentially work. Taiga’s adoption fee is $65 which includes her vaccines, spay, microchip, and deworming. When you are contacted, you will be told if your application is approved or not. If it is we will proceed with a meet and greet. We will then proceed with the adoption to the selected family.
