　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments. To adopt, we need to receive a completed application (link found below). This sweet little baby is Rasta, a male light orange (also called champagne or peach) tabby kitten with mostly white coloring. Rasta is approximately 5 months old (as of 11/25/13). Rasta is sociable with other kittens, but may not be a good playtime buddy with an older cat. A kitten's energy can be overwhelming and make older cats nervous. Rasta is a typical energetic guy who loves attention! We don't recommend him for a home with dogs. Stop by our cat adoption center to meet Rasta and more adoptable cats and kittens! Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations. Due to being underage for a spay/neuter surgery, adoption requires an additional refundable spay/neuter deposit to reinforce state requirements for all adopted pets to be fixed by age of maturity.
