　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments. To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). This is handsome little Petey, a sweet young male White and Orange Tabby at 1 year, 8 months old (as of 1/8/14). Petey is a playful little fella! Petey loves to play, jump and climb! Such a sweet boy. When he isn't playing, he's snuggling! He loves to socialize with other cats, but really loves when he can snuggle with a person. He'd do well with other cats or as an only pet. He'd love plenty of one on one time with a person. He's never been around dogs, but he's gentle and sweet with children. Stop by our cat adoption center to meet Petey and more adoptable cats! Negative for FIV/ FeLK and current on vaccinations and neutered. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.).
