　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This is handsome little Petey, a sweet young male Orange Tabby, approximately 8 months old (1/8/13). Petey is a playful little fella! Petey loves to play, jump and climb! When he stops for a moment to notice us, he's happy to chat with us and beg for attention! Then he's off to play again! When he isn't playing, he's snuggling! He loves to snuggle with other cats, but really loves when he can snuggle with a person. He'd do well with other cats or as an only pet. He's never been around dogs, but he's gentle and sweet with children. Stop by our cat adoption center to meet Petey and more adoptable cats!

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors/legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
