　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This handsome guy is Murphy, a male orange and white tabby. He's a "teenager" at close to a year old. Murphy is a friendly guy! He loves hanging around people, and does well with other cats. He should do well around gentle children. Murphy is definitely a "buddy" type of cat who'll be so happy to hang out with you! Contact us or visit our cat adoption center to meet him!

　　Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and neutered.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
