I Want a Home for the Summer!
The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

This cute young man is Max, a very handsome orange and white shorthaired tabby. Max is a young adult between 1 and 2 years of age. Max is a very sweet guy! He socializes well with other passive, friendly cats. We don't think he'd adjust to a home with dogs. He loves interacting with people, especially to play games. He seems to think he's still a kitten with all this energy, though we're wondering if it's just joy from being rescued! Poor Max was abandoned at an apartment complex, so it was no surprise that no one claimed him. But now this sweet, playful young man is on the prowl for a new, real family who can give him a spot in their home and hearts! Stop in at our cat adoption center to meet Max!
