This handsome guy is Bryant, an adult male golden yellow tabby. He's 5 years old. Bryant is a mellow, friendly guy! He's very sweet! Bryant's previous owners couldn't make room for him and for the new baby, so now he's looking for another loving, caring home. He's looking for a calm, loving home where he can be kept safe. Bryant was declawed by his previous owners, so he needs a very specific home that will need his needs. We will NOT adopt him into a home with dogs or small children. A common misconception due to lack of clear information, some may think declawing is a great way to go in homes with kids. But it's really a cat's only way of setting boundaries or defending themselves. Children would be able to hurt him without knowing when to stop. Also, cats balance on their toes and are at a major disadvantage, even if the declawing was done well. No perfect jumping or landing on their feet.
Declawing is considered inhumane, an amputation of the first phalanges of cats' bones. More information is available at , an informational website created by a licensed veterinarian.

Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and neutered.
Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend for any applicants (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors (19 and under, in the state of Alabama). Read up on our adoption process . Then , if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt this cat, submit an online application form. We recommend meeting any pet first.
