Tabby - Nala - Medium - Young - Female - Cat

　　Nala is a beautiful brown tabby shorthair kitty. One of FACT's 3-time adopters saw her get hit by a truck on Feb. 20, 2004 and brought her to me. As Nala was recovering from her multiple oral and internal injuries I noticed that she was pregnant. Nala's babies were born on April 13 and only one survived, probably due to the trauma and all of the medication she had to be on. This sweet, brave kitty wound up adopting 7 orphans and, all the while recuperating herself, she has raised a total of 8 kittens from 5 different litters. She is my hero. Nala has now been spayed (on November 4), tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV, and has her rabies shot and distemper shot onboard. I wouldn't mind keeping her with me forever but she deserves her own home where she can be honored and respected for the hero that she is. This is a picture of Nala nursing and cleaning several of her adopted babies. "Nephew" Pepto B is at the top of the picture. He is 15 months old and also available. Adoption donation.
