　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　I Want a Home for the Summer!

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

　　Click here to visit us on Facebook! This sweet little man is Uno, a very cute gray tabby with perfect black tiger stripes. Uno is a teenager at almost 2 years old (his birthday is April 19th). Uno is a very gentle, low-energy guy. He loves company, but is very lazy! Uno can be bashful when meeting new people, but he's waiting for the right person to come along so he can really bond with them. He does well with other cats, but we don't think he'd do well around dogs. Uno isn't impressed with most cat toys, but he thinks we are pretty amusing when we try our best to get him to play with us! Please stop in at our cat adoption center to meet Uno!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been neutered.

　　Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help offset vet and general care expenses.Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
