　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This sweet lady is Tigger, a striped gray/brown tabby with white paws and a white underbelly. She's approximately 4 to 6 years old. Tigger is a sweet companion! She loves to be around you, and would love to greet you at the door every time you come home. She socializes well with other cats, but she is an independent girl and would do very well as an only cat, too. We wouldn't recommend her in a home with dogs. Tigger can usually be found lounging in a windowsill, inside a kitty bed, in a small box - if she can squeeze into it, she'll take a nap in it! We also think it's very cute that she somewhat responds to her name - out of the many other cats at the adoption center, she knows we're talking to her if we say her name! It's just all up to her if she ignores us! You can meet this beautiful lady at our cat adoption center!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors/legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
