　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's Home for the Holidays campaign aims to have as many homeless pets home by the end of December as possible! During November & December 2012, we've waived adoption fees for adult cats 1 year and older and reduced younger cats' fees to only $40! Make a cat's Christmas wish come true!

　　Please meet Sheena, a gorgeous female Silver Tabby young adult. She's 2 years old (6/8/12). Sheena is a sophisticated young lady with lots of personality! Sheena likes to be the center of attention! Sheena is a wonderful companion pet. She's a gentle lady, but with enough flare of an attitude to never let her be a dull companion! She also loves cubby holes and absolutely loves to find high places to climb up to and hide! She's a prankster! She'll always come down the second she decides she needs cuddles, so she never stays hidden for long! Please visit our cat adoption center to meet Sheena!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK and current on vaccinations. Sheena has been spayed.

　　Our adoption fee is $75, a fee to help offset vet and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care.
