It's easy to adopt me this summer!
Throughout this summer 2012, the Humane Society of West Alabama wants to increase my chances at finding my forever home by reducing my adoption fee! Email my rescue group or stop in to meet me!
The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.
To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). Some pets could be in foster care. For information on a specific animal, please visit our adoption center or email us at [email removed]!

This gorgeous gray lady is Professor Minerva McGonagall, a female gray tabby. Minerva is a little on the "rounded" side, also known as a little big in the middle, and is a young adult "teenager" at 1 1/2 to 2 years old. Minerva is a sweet girl! Her favorite place to be is sitting in someone's lap. She is very loving, even to other cats she has adjusted to. Minerva has a calm and gentle temperament. We don't know how Minerva would do around dogs. One of Minerva's favorite things to do is play in water! She may be a tabby/retriever mix, because she just loves water! She makes splashes, drops toys in bowls, and goes for a dip! We get as much entertainment out of it as she does! If this sweet, funny and loving lady sounds like the perfect new cat for your family, please give us a call or email!
Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on annual vaccinations and has been spayed.
Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help offset a fraction of the vet costs. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process . Then, if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt this cat, submit an online application form.
