I Want a Home for the Summer!
The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

This handsome young guy is Darby, a gray and white tabby male. He's a young guy, maybe two to three years old. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes!! Blue eyes aren't too common with tabbies. Darby was rescued from a sticky situation, along with two siblings. He can be a little nervous at first, but he's just a sweet, friendly guy to anyone he bonds with! He just needs a little patience and someone who's willing to spend a little bit of time with him. Contact us or visit our cat adoption center to meet Darby!

Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and neutered.
Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process . Then, if you feel your home might be the right forever home and you would like to adopt this cat, submit an online application form.
