I Want a Home for the Summer!
The Humane Society of West Alabama's "Home for the Summer" campaign aims to find homes for as many pets as possible! During the months of June & July 2013, we've reduced adoption fees to only $45 for all adult cats 1 year and older! Help us make this their best summer ever - by winning a loving family!

Please meet Amora, a short-haired female Gray Tabby. She's a teenager/young adult, maybe 1 to 3 years old. She's also a very petite girl! Amora is a sweet, gentle little lady! She loves receiving attention from people! She does well around other cats, but we've noticed she prefers the company of people. We haven't had her around small children, but she'd do fine around older kids who can handle her gently and pick up on the basic kitty clues when they don't want to be held. Amora would be happy as an only pet, but would also do well around another cat or two with her personality. We don't know if she'd do well around dogs. She'd be a wonderful companion cat! Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Amora!
