　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　Please meet Victor, a very handsome adult male Brown Tabby with large yellow eyes and sweet tiger stripes. He has long whiskers that take a little bit of a fancy mustache shape! Hipster kitty!! His ears sometimes look like they're sitting a little higher than other cats' ears. But they're always perked up to listen for the sounds of feet coming to him! Victor loves receiving attention! He received attention and socialization in his previous home, so there's no guessing there! He's a pretty mellow, even-tempered guy who likes to sit back, kick his paws up, relax and keep things cool. He should do fine around kids who can handle him gently and tell when he doesn't want attention (which is rare). Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Victor!

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
