　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments. To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). This sweet little baby is Searcy, a female short-haired brown/grey tabby kitten with light chocolate/almost orange coloring on her head. Her fur coloring is gorgeous! We can't imagine how gorgeous she'll look as an adult! Searcy is 6 months old (as of 11/23/13). She's a sweet little lady who needs a safe and loving home! Visit our cat adoption center during Saturday open hours or contact us to meet Searcy! Negative for FIV/FeLK, current on vaccinations and spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and receive immediate vet care upon intake before being available for adoption. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents.
