　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This handsome little guy is Peter, a male brown/gray tabby kitten with very handsome milk chocolate splotches in his coat. He's a little man at 16 weeks old (as of June 2013), which means he still has a good bit of growing to do! Peter is an active, friendly kitten who loves to cuddle and play! He'd do well with other friendly cats and kittens, but might be too afraid of dogs. He's very playful and loves having all the attention on him! Please stop in at our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Peter!

　　Negative for FIV/FeLK and current on vaccinations. Since Peter is too young to be neutered, we require a refundable spay/neuter deposit. Please refer to our adoption process for more information.

　　Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.). We cannot accept applications from minors or legal dependents. Read up on our adoption process .
