　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer and need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments. To adopt, we need to receive an application (link to the online version found below). Visit us on Facebook: /humaneswa This little lady is Mindy, a small brown/orange tabby female kitten, approximately 7 months old (as of 10-16-13). Her fur coloring is absolutely beautiful! Pictures just can't do her justice!! The fur coloring is referred to as a tortoiseshell tabby. Mindy is a sweet, funny and very affectionate little cat! She loves people, loves to play and nap with other kittens, and absolutely loves attention!! When she makes a new friend, she usually walks right behind them, meowing at their feet! We believe Mindy would do well with children who can candle her gently. We aren't sure how Mindy would react to dogs. Visit our cat adoption center during Saturday open hours or contact us to meet Mindy! Negative for FIV/FeLK, and current on vaccinations. Mindy is spayed. Our flat adoption fee is $75, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and receive immediate vet care upon intake before being available for adoption. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read the descriptions thoroughly and note the specific personalities or special criteria we recommend (some are not good around kids, other cats, dogs, etc.).
