　　Throughout this summer 2012, the Humane Society of West Alabama wants to increase my chances at finding my forever home by reducing my adoption fee! Email my rescue group or stop in to meet me!

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're an all-volunteer group and need advance notice to schedule appointments. We cannot accept same-day appointments.

　　These animals are not for sale - they are up for adoption. We do not hold/reserve animals, nor do we adopt on a first come, first serve basis. We adopt to the best applicant at our own pace. We don't do same-day adoptions, no exceptions.

　　This beautiful little brown girl is Adele, a small and sweet brown tabby kitten with white "socked" feet and white around her mouth! She also has a a very cute little milk chocolate brown nose and a tabby "M" on her forehead, between her two very large ears she's trying her best to grow into! Adele is a little small for her age, so she might stay a relatively small girl as an adult. But right now she's still a baby at only about 6 months old (7/11). Adele is a playful and friendly little lady with a love for any soft pillow or fuzzy blanket! Adele can be a bit of a cut-cup, loving any high place, cubby hole or anywhere that we'd typically think was not a comfortable place to sleep in. She always seems to find a new way to play with toys, too - and be forewarned that "watersports" are not out of the question with her! We believe she's the ringleader in the phantom drowned fuzzy mice incidents, and we're prepared to call NCIS to investigate the mysterious cases. 　　Negative for FIV and FeLK and current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

　　Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help defray a fraction of vet costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Cats still sick or in questionable health are not yet considered adoptable - we only rehome animals who are cleared by one of our trusted local veterinarians. Read up on our adoption process .
