My story

　　Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization.

　　AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area.

　　AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.

　　Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.

　　All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.

　　Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.

　　All our dogs are completely vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

　　We are currently accepting applications for Sweetie.

　　Sweetie is a breeder-release.

　　She is a small, silver/blue Poodle.

　　She weighs approximately 10-12# and has a year of birth of 2016..

　　Sweetie is scheduled for her final veterinarian wellness check, vaccine boosters and a full dental the 10th of Jan.

　　She will be ready for her furever home and family thereafter.

　　Sweetie is doing well with potty pad training currently.

　　She has been outside a couple of times, however, with the cold and snow as of late; we are continuing with the potty pad training.

　　Sweetie loves attention and has a boat-load of energy.

　　She finds this new life outside of the breeding box to be absolutely wonderful and prefers not to be crated, however, she settles down nicely.

　　Sweetie is looking for a home and family that will allow her time to settle in, who will have patience as she learns this new, exciting life outside of the breeding cage.

　　We will not place Sweetie in a home where she will be alone for extended periods of time or where crating is the norm.

　　We are looking for a family where at least one member of the family is a stay-at-home or works from home pet parent; a family that can help Sweetie acclimate to her furever home and family.

　　Sweetie gets along with other dogs and loves running and playing with a fur-sibling.

　　Meet and greets are scheduled upon approved, completed application.
